The leader of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, has emphasized the urgent need to combat climate change. He highlighted that the Earth is currently experiencing an intense heating phase, with July recording record-high temperatures. This cruel summer in the Northern Hemisphere is a disaster for the entire planet. Guterres also issued a warning that unless there is a sudden cooling period, July 2023 will surpass all previous records. To help preserve our planet, we must take socially responsible action, such as planting trees. This season presents an ideal opportunity to plant 10 trees in and around our villages, towns, campuses, and complexes. Teachers can initiate this campaign with the help of their students. Saving the Earth for the sake of future generations is of utmost importance.
